Daniel's been holed up in his room with research for a while.

But archaeologist cannot live on intellectual stimulation alone, and so, after finally actually eating something, he's heading back to his room with a large thermos full of coffee.

How predictable.

Daniel cringes.

He can guess.

"...Janet...I might need to talk to her alone, to get her to cooperate."

Janet nods. "Of course. She probably won't talk to you if I'm in the room, anyway.

Janet stops outside of her and Sam's room.

"I'm really worried about her, Daniel," Janet says quietly, "It's so unlike her to be this way."

"I'll talk to her, Janet," Daniel says, also quietly, and gives her shoulder a reassuring pat before opening the door to their room and looking for Sam.
